e3 Partners:  Adding Medical Testimony

As we were going through all our post production to produce the films from our trip with e3 Uganda, we came across this story of Kipp and Kim Cheek.  We happened to interview both while in Uganda about their role with e3 and making disciples using medical clinics.  Amazingly, they both shared this specific story as to how God revealed to them the need for medical clinics as a part of church planting.  We knew this story wouldn’t make it into our final film, but it’s so good we couldn’t let it go to waste.  So here is a quick-edit story of how the Cheek’s began utilizing medical as part of their church planting trips.  As you watch it, ask God to speak to you as He did to the Cheeks in Uganda… And be sure to listen.

African Bus Ride Time Lapse

While filming for a week in rural Uganda with e3 Medical, we took many bus rides through the mountains to set up medical clinics in remote, unreached areas.  One of those trips we just decided to attach a camera to the front of our bus… This video is the result.  The music you hear in the video is the sound of some of the woman in one of the villages we visited worshipping outside the church.

HOPE+ Sisterhood Uganda

Project Hopeful’s HOPE+ Sisterhood

Project HOPEFUL’s desire to support mothers in need – particularly those mothers who have an HIV diagnosis – was born out of our love for birth mothers and the terribly difficult and unfair decisions they have had to make regarding the care of their children.  Out of this desire, the Hope + Sisterhood family of programs was born.  Watch this film and learn more about how you can get involved with what God is doing through the HOPE+ Sisterhood in Uganda.

e3 Medical: Uganda

e3 Partners Medical

Website:  www.e3partners.org/medical

e3 Medical is a ministry within e3 Partners.  Short-term teams visit countries around the world to focus on discipleship and eternal impact. Through the gift of quality, caring and free medical attention, hearts and minds are opened and often willing to participate in spiritual discussions. Team members naturally share their reasons for coming and follow-up services are channeled through the local church.

Lantern Vision spent a week with e3 Medical.  It was a week filled with plenty of needles and stethoscopes, but most importantly it was a week filled with disciple-making.

As you watch this short film, pray and consider how God is moving you to help make disciples in Uganda or in your own neighborhood.
